NFABD promised national league will take place on Dec 3.

The DST National League will kick off on Saturday (Dec 3) this year.
This was announced by Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Rahman bin Hj Mohiddin, the President of National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) in his speech during the closing ceremony for the five-day Brunei Darussalam member association refereeing course 2011 conducted by a referee instructor from FIFA yesterday.
In the speech, the President of NFABD promised that the national league will take place on Dec 3.
He also revealed that the association is in the pipeline of organising a Youth Football League as one of the many football development activities
Dato Paduka Hj Abdul Rahman then urged the local referees to be involved in the national league in helping the tournament to be a success.
He then urged referees to make good use of the opportunity of attending courses that are free of charge. He also advised the local referees to be fit to be on the field because the decision of the referee can affect the result of the game
In further pursuit knowledge, he hoped that the local referees will better grasp the English Language so that they can get a chance to officiate matches in overseas tournaments.
He hoped to see a Brunei referees officiating a game in the World Cup in the future.
The NFABD President conveyed his appreciation to FIFA, AFC and AFF for providing various assistance to the association through courses and financial assistance.
During the ceremony, Azimi Abdullah, the FIFA referee development officer for Asean and East Asia region presented equipments for fitness test to NFABD
Before completing the certificate presentation, Noorizam bin Zakaria the only participant who passed the fitness test received a special football from Azimi.
